Shipping & Delivery
Standard Shipping refers to basic ground shipping charges that are not expedited and are in the continental United States. Shipments to Canada are not considered standard shipping.
We use primarily use FedEx for shipping. We also use UPS & USPS dependent upon address deliverability and shipping volume. We offer free shipping for all orders over $25. For orders under $25.00, we charge a flat handling fee of $10.00.
When will my order ship? While we strive to get orders out as quickly as possible, items are typically shipped in 3 – 5 business days. While we cannot guarantee this time frame, due to unexpected circumstances outside of our control, we strive to ship within that time frame. Order cutoff time for the day is 4pm.
In the event there is a stock shortage, we will inform the customer of that shortage by way of email. If there is no response within a 48 hour time span, Morning Star Home Accent will proceed to process the order for shipment and backorder any product unavailable at that time. We strive to have a continual communication during your order process and will keep you informed every step of the way until your order is completed.
When will my order arrive? While we cannot guarantee exact delivery, in-stock orders are typically delivered within 7 to 8 business days of placing your order but could take longer. This does not include weekends. Regardless of when your orders ships, your credit card will be charged in full at the moment you place the order. We will inform you of any situations or problems which may cause a delay in your order. We will also email you with all shipping/tracking information which will include shipment date, package carrier and the tracking number for your order which will enable you to track your package status.
Taxes, Duties and Fees
Customers will pay their own taxes when applicable by law within the USA. For international orders customers are responsible for paying any taxes, duties or fees imposed by their country of residence. These fees are not included in your shipping cost.
If you have a damaged or incorrect item, please refer to our return and cancellation policy, then e-mail us a description of what is wrong with the item(s) and whether you are requesting an exchange or a refund. Please include your order number. We will pay all shipping costs for damaged or incorrect orders.
If for any reason your purchase does not meet your expectations please return it to us for a prompt exchange or refund. We want you to be happy. Please send us an e-mail request first. However, it is the customer’s responsibility for all shipping charges, to and from, in this event. In cases in which the customer has received free shipping for orders over $35.00, the customer will be charged for the original shipping cost to the customer. This amount will be deducted from the refund. As stated above, the customer is also responsible for the return shipping charges. The flat handling fee of $15.00 for orders under $25.00 will not be refunded!
Please make sure the return has been pre-approved!
All product returns must be in new condition without any damaged or “used” status such as stains, pet hair or damaged in any way.
Please note original processing/shipping fees are non-refundable. Returns should be accompanied by a packing list. Please note if you exchange an item, shipping costs is the customer’s responsibility unless previously authorized differently.
We care about your feedback, so please take a moment to let us know the reason for your return with a simple note.
If customer requests a return for a partial of the order and the order qualified for free shipping, then the partial return may bring the qualifying order below $35.00 minimum. As stated above, the customer must pay the shipping both ways and will be deducted from any refund.
Once an item has shipped, cancellation will not be permitted.
Shipment refusal for reasons other than damage, defect, or mis-shipment may result in a 25% refusal penalty fee.
